Even as a hardcore HTML coder, I’ve started to use it because it’s so useful. That wasn’t always the case, but the most recent version have been great. Plus, WordPress automatically saves your posts as you’re typing, so there’s no worry about losing it.

Two things on your post… I ended up having to switch to Windows Live Writer to get past some glitches in WordPress with images. The online editor would crap out and keep putting the images in-line. Past that, I have lost several posts due to WP’s very flaky WYSIWYG editor.

Second, always backup. I’ve been experimenting with a WP backup plug-in… but bloggers make sure you have backups… In fact, I haven’t done mine in a while… better refresh it.
