This reminds me when a young resident came to me, pulling out me out from another pt’s room. “His blood is backing up. Hurry, he can’t afford to lose blood!”
To ease her panic, I just went with her and showed her the label of the bag infusing. It was Iron. It’s always the color of blood.
She turned red.
