I wanted to thank Shane again for all his help with my blog. He’s been an amazing resource of web 2.0 information. Everything you can think of that is blog-related he’s been my ‘go-to’ man.

I unfortunately have been nagging the poor guy non-stop. It seems that everyday I have a new issue/question about making my blog a lil’ better. He always has great information. He always gives me the pro’s and con’s of all the possible options and never pushes or influences me to choose one over another. I would encourage anyone who’s interested in taking their blog to the next level to give this guy a holler! Thank you Shane for being the greatest web guy!

WHEW! I just got a stroke of luck. Work called for an emergent OB case that was being prepared. They were needing me to come in to recover the patient, when the supervisor realized that the patient will be admitted to the OB wing and an be recovered by the wonderful OB staff! So now I don’t have to go out in the lovely snow blanketed roads!

This past week at work was wicked. It was Karma at it’s best. I voiced my concerns to my manager about last week. I literally had 6 days off due to low census and the obvious holiday, and the lack of ‘work’ puts a pinch on my pocket. Well someone was listening, because everyday this week I had to stay over my scheduled time. So Karma gave me some pocket book balance.

I’m still in the revamping process of my theme. I really like the new theme a lot. Just have to work on tweaking the icon in the header as well as change things up a bit with the side bars.

I’m also changing how I categorize my blog posts. I still haven’t quite figured out why the internet has to have 2 separate methods of classifying blog posts. Categories and tags. They’re one in the same.. But their really not. LOL. I’m still learning.

It’s been a fun first 6 months with me taking my blogging seriously. I have of course annoyed my readers by doing nothing but constantly changing. LOL, I started by blogging mostly about fitness and wellness and spitting out a post or two on nursing topics. My blog name (and domain name) was different. Then I changed gears with my current domain name and theme. I started blogging more about nursing and spitting out a few posts about fitness and wellness.

Well now I’m slowly combining my interests in blogging. The majority of my posts are still nursing related, but I’m wanting and trying to post more information regarding health, fitness and wellness. For those of you who visit here often, is there anything that sparks your interest that I could blog about for you? Anything about fitness or wellness that your curious about? I’d love to hear your thoughts.

I appreciate all of you that keep coming back to visit my lil’ space on the internet. I’ve met some great people thus far and I’m looking forward to more of the same!

Happy Holidays!

Carpe Diem

You know nurses. You know wellness. How about something addressing the difficulty nurses have in taking care of themselves, and how one could change that. I think you’ll come up with something grand!
