My Strong Medicine

The adventures of a male nurse navigating through life, staying fit, surviving the journey.

Seriously

Posted by Sean on January 7, 2009

Do you really think YOUR floor is the ONLY floor busy? The entire hospital census is up. We don’t have enough beds for patients.

But you think I’m dumping on you? Like it’s MY  fault the census is high? It’s MY fault people are sick?

I thought we were all on the same team?

Oh yeah, did I forget to mention there are people out there without a job? And you’re complaining about being overwhelmed at work.

Seriously?

@ Epijunky Thanks for sharing. It is trying sometimes, we’re all doing our best.

    I know how you feel.

I’ve felt the same way when bringing a patient into an already crowded ER and being paged constantly to get back into service.

But we can’t, because there’s no one to give a report and transfer care to.
