My Weekly Web Mad Props
Posted by Sean on January 9, 2009
So I think I tried this at the beginning of my blogging adventure. I loved the ‘Link Love‘ post that other bloggers were doing, but you know me. I wanted to be different.
I tried and failed miserably at the ‘Kook Kernels‘ concept. I liked the catchy Link Love phrase and I was biting the idea. You can see how far that got me.
This week it dawned on me to focus my ‘sharing’ energy not just on the blogs I read, but anything I thought might spark anyone’s interest. Anything that I thought deserved some ‘Mad Props‘.
So here is my version of everyone else’s ‘Link Love’ The first installment of My Weekly Web Mad Props.
As many of you may or may not know. I’m quite the TV addict and movie fanatic. I personally haven’t watched ER in quite some time. According to the TV Squad, it seems that the show has been advertising it’s ‘final’ season for more than one season. And now THIS season is being extended?
Anyone remember dating? Remember how easy it was? How about dating during this day and age with the advent of the internet, mobile web, text messaging and everything web 2.0?
I can never get enough of my Google Reader.Just listen to me on Twitter sometimes. Well here is a beginner’s how-to video on the infamous tool.
How smart do you think you are? I guess your sperm know more than you think.
Ramona over at Suture For A Living mentions the 2008 Finalists for the Medical Blog Awards. I happen to read and follow a good number of the nominees!
Here’s taking gadget-love to a new level? Where are are my iPhone users?
Yes, I have been know to be a lil’ slow on the uptake. Just to prove it to you, I honestly questioned the usefulness of Apple’s new keyboard-less laptop?? ![]()
There’s a new carnival in town. OK, maybe not in town perse’, but there’s a new carnival in my blogosphere! Trauma Junkie has taken the plunge by creating a brand new Blog Carnival called ‘A Source of Inspiration’ geared towards his passion and future in Respiratory Therapy. (I think the name alone deserves mad props) It looks and sounds like a great thing I wish him the best of luck. Hopefully he’ll hit Kim up over at Emergiblog for some helpful hints.
And finally, do you have writer’s block? How about letting Twitter give you a hand?
I hope everyone’s week was a safe and happy one.
Carpe Diem
