Random Bloginess
Posted by Sean on January 13, 2009
So yesterday was an eye opener. It’s amazing how much I keep learning.
My blog is slowly starting to take on a life of it’s own. I can’t seem to hone in on one sort of ‘theme’ on my blog posting. Sorry I couldn’t be more consistent. I have this tendency to blog about what moves me, inspires me, or simply lights me up (whether positive or negative)
Writer’s block is in full force these days. So I’ve recruited the help of a fellow blogger to help me over the hump. Lisa over at Driven to Distraction is in my humble opinion quite the MeMe master. So I’ve asked her for some tips on participating in some Meme’s. I thought it might help spark some stories. If anything you’ll get to learn just a tad bit more about me. (Look out!)
I’m also using Posterous a whole heck of a lot more for posting. It’s a great tool for posting and sharing anything additional to your blog, and the blog by email feature is the SHIZNIT. I use the email feature to share Mad Props I find throughout my day. And of course there is the ever-so KEWL Twitter feature that makes it all the more lovable!
I’d love to hear your thoughts on the life of my blog. Good? Bad? Missing something? Should I get rid of something? Am I blogging too much? Too little? (I’m striving for an average of 7 / week. 1 a day is hard, so I sometimes spit out 2 or 3 in one day)
I’m always wondering what causes you to pass by my lil’ space on the internet? How can I keep you coming back? How can I get more people to join the party?
I love blogging. And I love seeing more reader. And I love getting comments.
How can I accentuate and increase what I love?
Lookin’ forward to hearing from all my awesome readers!
Thanks for being a part of my blogosphere and tolerating my shtuff!
Have a Great Day!
Carpe Diem

I don’t have a focus for my blog either, but I have to make peace with that because I’m a dilettante! I like lots of things. I found your blog on a list of nursing blogs somewhere, I think.
I also feel like it’s all a give and take – for the most part you have to find other like-minded bloggers and comment and hope they return the favor… that’s the best I have so far! I’ve been blogging for years and years on livejournal, where it’s easy to build in your fan base and commenter set of folks you either know in real life or you find through communities. Going out on my own has been more difficult.
I am not a nurse yet, but I appreciate hearing about the life of nurses so I know what to look forward to! Thanks for blogging.
