Falling down is a part of life

Posted by Sean on January 18, 2011

It’s the getting back up that some have difficulty with.

Falling with grace is perfectly OK. But for Pete’s sake don’t stay down there!

Get your @ss back up and try again!

Decisions, decisions.

Gosh-darn Verizon and their incessant need to be the best. *sigh*

Now that the Verizon iPhone is actually happening this newly-reformed Blackberry user turned Android fanatic is contemplating another smart phone change. I’ve been talking about and wanting an iPhone for quite some time now. Last fall I dived into the Android world because my Blackberry had sent me over the edge, and I needed something better.

My 1st choice WAS the iPhone, but that wasn’t possible with me and Verizon.

Now the game has changed, yet again.

I really want the iPhone for all the compatibility glory. I love how many darn things you can adapt it to – speakers, charger, iRadio, i- whatever your heart’s desire.

It also is the leader of the pack (at the moment), although Android is catching up fast.

The other thing is the darn Verizon iPhone will be released in February. And anyone that follows Mr. Jobs and his company knows that the next ‘release’ of the iPhone will be summertime.

*sigh*

Decisions, decisions.

CardioTrainer – Android app

CardioTrainer – Android app

I’m giving this app a go. Not quite sure how I feel about it thus far, since I’m not a big cardio person?? (Yeah what was I thinking).

Most of my ‘cardio’ is done within my training regimen (combo of HIIT, circuit work, crossfit, etc). The little bit of cardio I do do (did I just type do do?) is indoors on the elliptical??

I do like the ease of access.. and the notification bar. I love the integration with my Google account. It has definite possibilities.. but the keynote killer feature of this app – the GPS I’ll probably never utilize.

Hmm..

Guess we’ll see.

It's all about priorities folks

Posted by Sean on January 13, 2011

One way or another your body (and your health) becomes a priority.

Either YOU choose to make it a priority on your own terms, or your body makes the choice for you – eventually.

Either way, your body will win. When your health is in jeopardy, your body holds everything in your life accountable. (Remember how wonderful life was the last time you got the flu?)

You only get one chance on this merry-go-round, why not take the ride on your terms?
