Do You Blog? Self-Hosted WordPress? Upgrade NOW!

Posted by Sean on September 5, 2009

23-wordpress_logo It seems that WordPress is under attack. The world’s most popular blogging platform is urging you to upgrade to the most recent version to thwart this attack.

Social media venues like Mashable and TechCrunch are doing there part to pass on the word.

So I’m following suit. Just ask a fellow med-blogger and Twitter user, Beth over at PixelRN, about how her blog has been hacked twice!

Please be sure to upgrade! Best of luck.

Mobile WordPress Blackberry

Posted by Sean on July 7, 2009

It seems that wordpress and blackberry have finally met in the mobile world!
I’m sending this post from my new blackberry mobile app for wordpress. I’ll be curious to see how this works.
The question is. If this works will I use this new app… Or just stick with Posterous.
The quest continues

Yep, I couldn't help it

Posted by Sean on August 5, 2008

So of course, I went back to WordPress.com, as you can see. It was pretty easy and straight forward. The only issue I have now is correcting my RSS feed. So not sure how that will play out.

Does it look familiar to anyone?? LOL.

I forgot how easy WordPress is, and how much I like the layout and functions. I decided to switch back from Blogger.com because I just couldnt’ see myself staying with the platform just for the Javascript. The Javascript option was the only real advantage to using Blogger vs WordPress, at least in my opinion for the wants and needs of my blogging.

I think eventually I’ll cross the great divide to self-hosting, but I need to spend more time just bloggin’.
:)

Thanks for hanging around with me!
